The meditation appreciates Ishvara in the form of the cosmos as a celebration of Ishvara's Shakti. As nimitta-upadana karana Ishvara is the very form of the cosmos, which includes one's body-mind. And as the ever-present Consciousness that is ever manifest as the 'I am vritti', ever aware of all that is, be it in waking or dream, or the absence of everything in deep sleep, one is the very infinite Self, sat-cit-ananda, whose magical projection this consciousness is.
