More About Me

H.H Swami Viditatmananda

Greatly influenced by the noble character and scholarliness of Guru, Pujya Shri Swami Viditatmanandaji, I took to Shastra shravanam in my early twenties. I was moulded to a very great extent by him and learned the principles of Vedanta from him. Later I met his Guru Pujya Shri Swami Dayananda and resolved to undertake a three year residential course under him.

H.H Swami Dayananda
With Pujya Swami Viditmanandaji's kind permission I underwent the 3 and half year residential course Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Annaikatti, Coimbatore between 1995 and 1998. It was a golden period of study and introspection under Pujya Swami Dayanandaji, where I also got to study under exalted teachers like Swami Paramarthananda and Swami Shuddhabodhanandaji. Pujya Swamiji's exposition of Vedanta was and is unique, and the message of Advaita was dinned into my heart and intellect in no uncertain terms. I was particularly entranced by Pujya Swamiji's emphasis on Sruti as a pramanam, and his consistent clarity and uncompromising method of traditional teaching of Shastra. To me Pujya Swamiji is UNIQUE as my Guru. .

Other mahatmas who have greatly influenced me because of their love and compassion for humanity are Shridi Sai Baba, Neem Karoli Baba and Mata Amritanandamayi SriSri Ravi Shankar. They demonstrate to me, the fullest expression of purnatvam.

I revere and look upto Pujya Swami Avdheshananda Giri. I first appreciated Bhagavatam and Tulsi Ramayana when I listened to Swamiji. I also  revere an amazing mahatma Shri 'M', from whom I received  Kriya Yoga.

I bow before the lineage of mahatmas and all Sad-Gurus, by whose Grace alone, I can say with certainty that the traditional teaching of Advaita confers moksha on all who have the enough shraddha and courage to stay with the teaching until the antahkarna is ready and recognition of the obtaining fact of one's absolute purnatvam is recognized.
